Nineteen of the Russian's 21 victories have been achieved on hard courts
A resurgent Medvedev secured his maiden title for over two years with success over Corentin Moutet in the Almaty Open title decider.
The athlete, a former world number one, has experienced a challenging season, managing just a single victory at the Grand Slams and suffering a difficult moment at the US Open.
Medvedev's inconsistency on the tennis tour - and issues with his serving in particular - led to him falling of the world's top 10 and finally splitting with former coach his previous coach.
Presently working with Thomas Johansson and Goetzke, Medvedev has consistently advanced in the past month - culminating in a tightly fought 7-5 4-6 6-3 triumph over opponent Moutet.
This represents the player's initial trophy since the Rome competition and first on a hardcourt after March of the previous year.
Success also means he has secured twenty-one championships at twenty-one different events.
"This marks the first occasion I'm at a tournament with my children at once, so to secure a trophy is particularly special," said ranked player Daniil Medvedev.
"This title is in tribute of my second daughter my daughter, because the initial championship I achieved when my child my daughter was delivered was for her."
The tennis star, the former major winner, had failed in his previous six title deciders, featuring in the German tournament in the past months.
The player's retrieving approach and recurring emotional displays on the tennis court had prompted observers to wonder if his ability to perform at the elite level was over.
Yet the 29-year-old has implemented adjustments in recent weeks, attempting to come to the net and perform aggressively, supported by an enhanced serving game.
Medvedev recovered from a deficit in the opening set against the tricky opponent, securing 4 of the concluding five points to go ahead.
The competitors exchanged breaks in the following set before Moutet, bidding for his first ATP Tour title, gained dominance to force a decider.
The opponent rescued four early-game chances in a competitive third set before the champion broke to fifteen to close out the victory.
Appropriately, Medvedev earned victory with a point at the net, with his opponent failing to handle a return after two hours and 38 minutes.
